Scranton, Pa. — Tomorrow, Congressman Matt Cartwright will face off against former corporate lobbying executive Jim Bognet in a televised debate.
The Cartwright campaign will be providing press releases in real time, fact-checking Jim Bognet and holding him accountable as he tries to run from his past at a corporate lobbying firm that worked on behalf of the worst actors in our politics, from Big Pharma to foreign countries.
The debate will be moderated by WVIA’s Larry Vojtko and panelists will include Borys Krawczeniuk, Staff Writer of the Times-Tribune, Roger DuPuis, News Editor for the Times Leader, and Lisa Washington, News Anchor at WNEP.
The event will take place at WVIA Studios in Pittston, Pa. on Thursday, October 20 at 7 p.m. It will simulcast live on WVIA-TV and WVIA Radio and will livestream on WVIA’s Facebook and Youtube channels as well as at wvia.org.
