In the 30-second ad airing throughout the Eighth Congressional District, Cartwright contrasts his work to provide families and small businesses with relief during the coronavirus pandemic, and to bring drug manufacturing back to America. The ad also highlights Jim Bognet’s pledge of support for the current administration’s agenda, a core component of which is dismantling the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare, in the courts with no plan to replace it. That means people with pre-existing conditions – which now includes COVID-19 – could be at risk of losing their coverage.
