Rep. Cartwright Announces Over $1M in HHS Funds to Rural Health Corp. of NEPA

A report by Times Leader shares financial aid Matt Cartwright advocated for to continue the important care Rural Health Corp provides for NEPA families:

“U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright, D-Moosic, announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded $1,034,770 to the Rural Health Corporation of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Wilkes-Barre. The funds will be used to maintain RHC’s current scope of health care services in its seven locations throughout the region.”

“RHC provides comprehensive primary and preventive medical and dental services to residents of all ages and income levels within their service area. They accept many insurance options, including most commercial insurances, the Children’s Health Insurance.”
